Initially he worked with youth and worship and over the years has served in a variety of pastoral positions. While serving in Maryland he attended Lancaster Bible College where he completed his masters in pastoral studies. During his years of full-time ministry, he has moved from Maryland to Virginia to Florida and most recently to Wisconsin. He also taught elementary music in Memphis for four and a half years.

Pastor Robert and Merry have been married since 1985. They met on a blind-date in 1982 that was arranged by mutual friends. They have four children and ten grandchildren. They both have undergraduate degrees in music. For fun, they enjoy music, biking, cooking, walking, playing board games, and spending any time that they can with their family.

Pastor Robert gave his heart to the Lord as a small child and discerned God calling him into full-time Christian work at the age of 15. His greatest joys in ministry are pastoring and teaching.

If you find him alone, he will probably be drinking coffee, listening to music, and studying.\n\nAbout \n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_gap _id=”58″ ][/cs_element_layout_column][cs_element_layout_column _id=”59″ ][cs_element_image _id=”60″ ][cs_element_headline _id=”61″ ][cs_content_seo]hunter newton\n\nYouth & Outreach Director\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_content_area_modal _id=”62″ ][cs_content_seo]Hunter started to really get serious about his faith at the ripe old age of 17. He holds a ministerial license with the Evangelical Free Church of America and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree at Moody Theological Seminary. He received his Bachelors of Science in Education from UW-Oshkosh in May of 2021. During his time there he was heavily involved with the campus ministry, Cru. Also during his college years Hunter interned at RiverValley Church in Oshkosh with the student ministry and under one of his best friends, Steven Blader. During his intern years he was given the tools to help lead, shepherd, teach, and disciple students. He and his lovely wife, Leah, were married in December 2022. Hunter hails from the booming metropolis of Markesan, WI, population: 1,284 where he wrestled and played baseball. In his spare time, you will catch him watching baseball or the TV shows “Parks & Rec” and “Community,” spending time with friends/family, bowhunting for deer or turkeys, and reading reformed theology books. You can find @newtcat6 on both instagram and Facebook. He’s excited to work together with both students and adults for God’s glory!
